Cosmetic Acupuncture

Cosmetic acupuncture decreases the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles without chemicals or surgery.  Tiny needles are inserted into the areas of concern and heat is applied to relax the facial muscles around the wrinkles and stimulate Qi.  Herbal cream is gently massaged into the face to nourish the skin and stimulate circulation.

An integral part of Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture has been used for centuries not only to promote optimal health and longevity, but also beauty.  Botox paralyzes the muscles around wrinkles; acupuncture relaxes them naturally.

Herbal Facial

Nourish and balance your skin with an Herbal Facial.  Herbal steam is used to open the pores and deliver essential nutrients into the dermis, followed by nourishing herbal conditioners and a stimulating facial massage.

Tui Na Medical Massage

Tui Na Chinese medical massage is not only a relaxing massage, but a healing acupressure treatment.  It is a form of manipulative therapy often used in conjunction with acupuncture to bring the eight principles of TCM into balance. The practitioner may brush, knead, roll, press and rub the areas between each of the joints (known as the eight gates) to open the body's defensive (wei) chi and get the energy moving in both the meridians and the muscles. The practitioner can then use range of motion, traction, massage, with the stimulation of acupressure points and to treat both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, as well as many non-musculoskeletal conditions.

Reflexology

Reflexology is the therapeutic practice of massaging the feet and hands in order to promote healing in specific organs in the body, reduce stress and tension, and improve general health.

Reflexology is a form of natural healing that has been practiced effectively for centuries.  Modern theories of reflexology suggest that by manipulating certain areas of the feet and hands, nerves are stimulated, body chemicals (such as endorphins) are released, and circulation is improved relieving stress, reducing tension, and promoting healing and balance.
